    SVIS association with British Council extends from its inception
    SVIS association with British Council extends from its inception
    UKIERI - UK - India Education & Research Initiative from 2008 - 2014 which saw 6+ years collaboration with Cuneyd Santosh, Wales and UK & SVIS
    ISA - International School Award - four times awarded with high merit from 2012 onwards
    ELQSP - English Language Quality Standards Programme - First school in India to be awarded membership in 2015
    RIDS - Recognition of International Dimension in Schools across India. Many projects with international dimension & collaboration are under way.
    And more importantly, Director Mrs Nita Arora is a BCSA or British Council School Ambassador who has led many international programmes at schools across India and in the UK, along with herself receiving training in ISA Consultancy, Competency based Assessment, Pedagogy and Core Skills.
    Ms Vineet Tomer HM also undertook Competency Based Assessment in Science from Cambridge University on behalf of CBSE & British Council
    Ms Renuka & Ms Dimple have received Global Teacher Certification.
    Ms Reena Kalra PGT English also undertook Core Skills Training.
    In 2014, English Department and Biology Teacher Ms Nita cleared CiSELT or CiPELT -
    Certificate courses in English Language Teaching with Merit
    Many teachers and students cleared APTIS. Shivangi Singh of Batch of 2015 became the APTIS Student Ambassador.
    SVIS participated in many other British Council initiatives.

        SVIS would like to place on record its deep appreciation for HITARTH SINGH, son of Mr Harpal Singh of VIII C for being the proud recipient of the MANAK INSPIRE AWARD for the Session 2024-25. He has also received Rs 10,000/- cash award. He will now go to the State and then National level. All the best to him.
        'Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The INSPIRE - MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation - India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students in studying in classes 6 to 10.
